In September 2017, the Minister for International Development, Marie-Claude Bibeau, launched the Civil Society Partnerships for International Assistance Policy, with nine objectives for how the government would engage with civil society. In December 2017, at a webinar organized by CCIC, Assistant Deputy Minister Caroline Leclerc, announced the establishment of a CSO Policy Advisory Group (CPAG) to give shape to the implementation plan for the policy.
One year later, catch up on the progress to date – including the implementation plan on objectives on gender equality and empowering women and girls (Objective 1), predictable, equitable and flexible funding (Objective 6), and engaging Canadians as global citizens (Objective 8) – and find out what is next for the CPAG.
