Ms. Mudahogora is the co-founder of two Canadian non-for-profit organizations: Uzima Network Inc., and le Mimosa du quartier. She holds a Master’s degree in Sociology with a specialization in Women Studies from the University of Ottawa.

Solange is a bilingual community development professional with a wealth of expertise both nationally and internationally. She managed, developed and Implemented various community programs in the area of research, evaluation, capacity building, gender based violence and health prevention. Her work is at the intersection of advocacy in the area of Settlement and Integration, Women and Children Protection, HIV/AID, Reproductive and Sexual Health, Public Policy Consultations and Human Rights.

Solange serves on the advisory committee of the National Alliance for Racialized Refugee and Immigrant Women, co-chairs the Canadian Council for Refugees immigration and settlement working groups, and is a member of the Universalist Unitarian Church of Halifax’s Private Sponsorship of Refugees. She has experience working with a variety of non-profit organisations, UN agencies, and academic institutions.
