The "Inspiring Action for Global Citizenship" program aims to promote awareness of global issues among the Canadian public and relevant stakeholders across Canada. Implemented by the eight Provincial and Regional Councils for International Cooperation, this program fosters engagement in international development within their respective provinces and regions.

Through its project, the councils of the ICN seek to increase the engagement of both the public and stakeholders in their respective regions. This initiative focuses on involving more Canada-based individuals, particularly youth, in international development by enhancing their support for and participation in Canada's efforts to eradicate global poverty.

The program translates into a variety of integrated communication activities, including the celebration of International Development Week, organizing public information sessions, and developing education curriculums that incorporate international cooperation themes. Additionally, the project aims to improve the capacity of Canadian civil society organizations working in international development to maximize their results through diverse knowledge-sharing initiatives such as workshops, webinars, and training sessions.
