Are you a young changemaker passionate about global issues and international cooperation?

The Inter-Council Network (ICN) is seeking 8 inspiring Youth Delegates (ages 18–34) from across Canada to attend the 2025 Cooperation Canada Leaders’ Forum, happening October 29–30, 2025 in Ottawa, Canada.

This annual event brings together senior leaders and emerging voices in Canadian international cooperation to strategize bold responses to today’s global challenges. As a Youth Delegate, you'll gain national exposure, engage in critical dialogue, and help amplify youth perspectives in shaping Canada's role in global sustainable development.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Aged 18–34 as of October 29, 2025
  • Canadian citizen or Permanent Resident
  • Proven interest in international Cooperation sector
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset

Application Deadline:

September 19, 2025, at 5:00 p.m. Atlantic Time

About the 2025 Cooperation Canada Leaders’ Forum

The 2025 Cooperation Canada Leaders’ Forum (October 29 - October 30) brings together senior leaders and emerging changemakers to reflect and strategize on the future of Canadian international cooperation. In a world facing growing disruption, the forum offers an opportunity to explore challenges and co-create bold, collective responses.

The objectives of the forum are to:

  • Understand the forces shaping the global cooperation landscape and Canada’s role in it.
  • Provide space for senior leaders and emerging leaders to build connections with their peers and provide opportunities for connection between these cohorts.
  • Identify priorities for collective action and innovation for Canadian organizations to shape and contribute to the Canadian and global international cooperation ecosystem.
  • Engage with the federal government on priorities for Canadian international
    cooperation.

The format of the forum will be candid discussions, peer learning, and collaboration workshops. The forum will provide opportunities for participants to learn, reflect and concretely identify ways to collaborate to collectively drive meaningful change in Canada and globally. This event is open to CEOs, Executive Directors and Emerging Leaders from Cooperation Canada members and affiliated networks.
