About the Inter-Council Network

The ICN is a dynamic network of provincial and regional member-based Councils for International Cooperation committed to social justice and social change. Rooted in communities across Canada and representing nearly 350 international cooperation organizations, the Councils are leaders in public engagement at a local and regional level and are recognized for bringing regional knowledge and priorities to the national level. The ICN provides a forum in which the Councils collaborate to improve development effectiveness, learn from each other’s specific skills, and identify common priorities for collective action.

Objectives

ICN is seeking a graphic designer to provide professional design services for various publications, including zines, research reports, and infographics. This assignment is expected to take place from April 2025 to May 2025.

Scope

ICN is seeking a graphic designer to collaborate with our communications and policy team in developing materials for an upcoming campaign on decolonial, anti-racist, and feminist approaches to public engagement. Specifically, the designer will be responsible for creating two zines, infographics based on our research projects, and two illustrated research reports.

Deliverables

  • 2 Zines
  • 2 Illustrated Reports
  • Infographics

Requirements

The designer should have:

  • Proven experience in graphic design, particularly within the international cooperation sector.
  • A portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Familiarity with Canada’s international cooperation sector.
  • The ability to deliver materials in both English and French.
