Join Spur Change, CAWST, the Jane Goodall Institute, Alternatives and Farmers Helping Farmers for an online interactive conversation on May 14th from 1:00PM - 2:15PM EST.

What does collaboration look like in times of Covid-19? How Canadian organizations are currently working with local partners to maintain their program activities? How are they providing support?

Due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, many Canadian small and medium organizations (SMOs) are facing immediate challenges, in particular, to provide support and collaborate with their local partners. Specialized, well-connected, and flexible, Canadian small and medium organizations (SMOs) can adapt their activities and provide crucial support to the most marginalized through their long-term partners. While many SMOs are actively looking for new solutions, the Spur Change team wants to invite SMOs to share their experiences working with local partners in these difficult times.

During this interactive conversation, SMOs from across the country will share their experience and provide real-life examples on how to support local partners in times of the pandemic, including the different activities and support structures necessary to implement programs and resources to share with partners (e.g. low literacy tools, best practices and useful guides/toolkits). Speakers will also share their perspective on how to navigate the political landscape in countries where local public health authorities are not adequately prepared to mitigate the spread.
