Hi, my name is Taylor and I am currently finishing my Honours degree in Health Sciences, specializing in Population and Public Health from the University of Ottawa. I’m passionate about advancing SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being. Being from a small rural community in Northern Ontario, I bring a strong focus on improving access to care in underserved and remote areas. I currently volunteer with the Canadian Cancer Society as a Voices for Change ACT Lead, where I support advocacy efforts to shape healthier public policies across Canada.

Prior to my work in health and advocacy, I built a career in the tourism industry, working as a travel agent, flight attendant, and hotel professional. I’ve had the opportunity to live in South Africa, the UAE, and throughout Canada. These experiences shaped my global perspective, adaptability, and commitment to inclusive systems. In my spare time, you can usually find me planning a getaway I probably can’t afford or spending time with my dog, Basil. I’m excited to bring my background in community engagement, policy advocacy, and cross-cultural communication to this next chapter.
