Supporting Local Partners in times of COVID-19 (bilingual)

What does collaboration look like in times of Covid-19? How Canadian organizations are currently working with local partners to maintain their program activities? How are they providing support? This interactive conversation took place on May 14, 2020 during which SMOs from across the country shared their experience and provided real-life examples on how to support local partners in times of the pandemic, including the different activities and support structures necessary to implement programs and resources to share with partners.

Youth Champions Program Intro

Introduction session to launch the Youth Champions program, which will offer tailored subject matter, skills training, support, opportunities for peer-to-peer learning and mentorship to SMOs and youth, who will then collaborate to plan and implement 5 public engagement opportunities in their regions.

Spur Change: Introduction of the Program

This webinar took place on August 20th, 2019 and was presented by Sara Michel, former Spur Change Global Citizenship Coordinator and Leah Ettarh, Executive Director – ACGC. It introduces the program objectives and deliverables:
– Eligibility criteria for participating in Spur Change programming
– Type of planned programming for SMOs
– Programming for schools (students / educators) and youth, and how SMOs can contribute and benefit from it
