The Fund for Innovation and Transformation (FIT) is a new national innovation initiative launched in May 2019. FIT supports Canadian small and medium-sized organizations (SMOs) testing innovative solutions to advance gender equality and empower women and girls in the Global South.
Civil society organizations, social enterprises, private sector and post-secondary institutions who meet program criteria are invited to apply. Successful applicants will receive $150K-$250 K to test their idea over 6 -15 months in collaboration with local partners in the Global South.
